The core of Concordia International University’s program is ‘selection’ and ‘focus’.
Concordia does not try to teach students everything. We are simply providing educational opportunities to students that are absolutely necessary.
We all know the example of animal school by Professor Leo Buscaglia, a world-renowned educator.
In the story, ‘running’ for rabbits, ‘flying’ for birds, and ‘swimming’ for fish were included in the curriculum at the squirrel’s insistence, but the rabbit fell from the ‘flying class’ and seriously injured its head. In the end, I couldn’t even run.
All other animals’ schools ended up being ruined by this type of education. Concordia’s education is ‘innovative’ in this sense.
Students can’t be good at everything, and they don’t have to do everything. Although Concordia’s training period is short, we teach students what they need and provide careful management to ensure that they do not fall behind in the curriculum.
Concordia is pursuing an innovative ‘educational platform’ based on ‘English’.
Through this, we will serve as a stepping stone for students to obtain high school, college, and graduate degrees as well as employment experience in a shorter period of time and at a lower cost.

세계적인 교육학자 ‘레오 버스카글리아’교수의 동물학교에 대한 예화를 우리는 알고 있습니다.
예화에서는 토끼를 위해 ‘달리기’를, 새를 위해 ‘날기’를, 물고기를 위해 ‘수영’을 다람쥐의 주장으로 ‘ 나무타기’를 커리큘럼에 넣었지만 토끼는 ‘날기 수업’에서 떨어져 머리를 크게 다쳤고 결국 달리기 조차 못하게 되었습니다.
다른 동물들도 모두 이런 식의 교육으로 결국은 학교가 망가졌습니다. 콘코디아의 교육은 이런 의미에서 ‘혁신’입니다.
학생들은 모든 것을 잘 할 수도 없고 모든 것을 해야 할 필요도 없습니다. 콘코디아의 교육기간은 짧지만 학생들이 꼭 필요한 것을 가르치고 교육과정에서 낙오하지 않도록 세심한 관리를 합니다.
