It is the 14th largest university in the UK. The school’s history begins with the Cambridge College of Art, founded in 1858, and continues through Anglia Polytechnic to Anglia Ruskin University, which opened in 1992.

In Cambridge, there are only two universities other than the University of Cambridge: Anglia Ruskin University. The University of Cambridge does not have an Arts Department, and business school fees are among the most expensive in the world, so students who graduate from the University of Cambridge tend to go on to study at Anglia Ruskin School of Arts Management.

It has a history of 150 years and is still called Cambridge University College of Art.
